These terms govern all furniture repair and restoration bookings made with TimberRevive Bristol. By confirming a quote, you agree to these working conditions.
Parties and scope
These terms apply between TimberRevive Bristol, located at 12 King Street, Bristol, BS1 4HQ, and the client named on the service quote. Our scope covers timber furniture repair, structural re-gluing, finishing, and wood maintenance as detailed in the agreed job specification.
Booking and quotes
Initial estimates provided via photographs are provisional. Firm quotes are confirmed upon physical inspection of timber condition, grain integrity, and previous finish types. Quotes remain valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.
Performance of the work and access to the premises
For on-site repairs, the client must provide a well-lit, dry workspace with access to standard 240V mains power and clear access routes. For workshop repairs, collection and return times will be agreed in advance. We take reasonable care to keep customer premises clean using ground dust sheets.
Prices, payment after completion and invoices
Prices are quoted in pounds sterling. Payment is due strictly upon completion and customer sign-off of the repair work. Accepted payment methods are cash on completion or direct bank transfer against invoice. We do not accept card payments, card terminals, or online card payment links.
Cancellation and rescheduling
Clients may cancel or reschedule a booking free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the arranged visit. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may incur a flat call-out fee of 35 pounds to cover reserved van routing and travel inside Bristol.
Liability, insurance and complaints
TimberRevive Bristol holds public liability insurance up to 2,000,000 pounds. We are not liable for pre-existing rot, woodworm structural collapse, or concealed hairline fractures inside timber that were not detectable prior to disassembly. Complaints must be reported in writing within 7 days of completion for prompt on-site inspection.
Governing law
These terms of service and any agreements between TimberRevive Bristol and the client are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
