We give transparent, fixed quotes before starting work. You will know the exact cost before we pick up an item or bring tools into your home.
How prices are set
Quotes are calculated based on timber species, extent of structural joint failure, and time required for stripping or coating. All prices cover standard consumables including hardwax oils, glues, and sandpaper.
Payment methods
Payment is cash on delivery or bank transfer only against invoice. We never store or process card details here.

Invoicing
We issue a digital invoice immediately upon job sign-off. For business clients, invoices are sent via email with bank transfer details and a 14-day settlement term.
Deposits and materials
A deposit of 20 percent is required only for extensive workshop projects exceeding 500 pounds where custom timber or specialist hardware must be purchased in advance.
Late payment
Overdue invoices past 14 days accrue statutory interest under UK commercial debt legislation at 8 percent plus the Bank of England base rate.
